Wendy Edwards, our CEO of Care Consultancy, and seconded part-time CEO for Care Assess / Care Forward, has been a distinguished leader in the health and community care sector. Her tenure at Care Consultancy began in November 2015, and over the past more than eight years, Wendy has demonstrated unparalleled dedication to operational excellence, strategic leadership, and clinical governance. Her work with us represents just one chapter in a career that now exceeds 34 years in management and health services, and more than 49 years in total contribution to health and community care.
Wendy’s professional journey is a testament to her unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those in her care. From her beginnings as a Registered Nurse, Wendy has built a career characterised by leadership, expertise, and a deep understanding of both the clinical and operational aspects of healthcare. Her leadership at Care Consultancy has been pivotal in enhancing our consultancy’s services, with a focus on quality, efficiency, and compliance within the aged care sector. Her legacy will undoubtedly continue to shape the future of Care Consultancy, Care Forward, and Care Assess for years to come.

Significant growth in Home Care Package (HCP) consumer numbers.
The implementation of the Short-Term Restorative Care (STRC) program.
The growth and expansion of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).
The implementation of the Post Hospital Program in its current form.
